SpeakerMy longtime friend Robert gave his first paid talk last week. Here’s an excerpt from a text he sent me after he’d given the talk: “I was in the warehouse during a big storm and the roll-up doors kept banging. It was a little distracting but I believe it went well.”

When you hire a professional speaker, whether seasoned or a rookie, there are things out of your control that can happen which take away from the effectiveness of the talk, like a storm banging roll-up doors or plant noises. But there are a host of things that are in your control which will help any speaker you hire do his or her best and increase the chances the talk will be a grand success.

I’ve made up a list that I give to clients when they hire me which describes several ways they can  “Get the most out of Richard.” The list applies to any speaker you use, including in-house presenters. You’re welcome to download the list and use it to make your next event a grand success. Here’s a link to the list: Get-The-Most-Out-of-Richard.pdf

‘till next time.
